Hi, I’m Kristin Lauterbach.

I’m a Los Angeles, California based, RYT 200 private yoga instructor and private guided meditation teacher. I received my teacher training through under the study of the gifted Malachi Grieves. I’m currently enrolled at LMU pursuing my certification in Yoga Therapy Rx and E-RYT 500. I have completed my first year of classes and is currently in my second year. The program is lead by renowned author and internationally respected yoga teacher Larry Payne, Ph.D
I started Serenity Yoga Therapy to empower people to healing and well being through awareness and acceptance. I want empower people to heal themselves through internal and external awareness through private yoga instruction. Kristin works out of her private studio in the serene and beautiful neighborhood of Mount Washington just north of downtown Los Angeles and near Highland Park, Eagle Rock, South Pasadena, Los Feliz, Glassell Park, Echo Park, Silverlake, Pasadena, and many other Los Angeles Neighborhoods. This neighborhood has been a sanctuary of the Self-Realization Fellowship’s Monks for years and the headquarters sits atop the hill. Yoga and meditation has been in this neighborhood for over 100 years! Kristin’s private yoga lessons and guided meditation sessions are tailored to your needs as an individual regardless of what skill level you are at!

I didn’t even know how badly I needed Kristin’s private yoga instruction until I had a major medical event in 2018 and found myself physically & emotionally shattered. Between all the hospital and doctor visits something was getting lost… My vitals were normalizing but I still felt bad. I needed help but I didn’t know where to begin. Kristin was able to evaluate where I was physically and prescribe a simple and straightforward yoga program that I could easily work into a hectic everyday schedule. I also learned breathing and meditation strategies that were extremely beneficial to my overall wellbeing and general state of mind.
